The heaviest typeface in the world, Black Slabbath. There’s only one thing about this new typeface that isn’t colossally black: the razor-thin white space. It slices through and between geometric characters, creating a juxtaposition of contrasts and rhythms. Black Slabbath is delivered in OpenType format.
Already being used by a number of hot companies and design firms, Black Slabbath makes any text look delicious. This colossally black typeface is the next big thing, with stylish geometric characters that create a juxtaposition of contrasts and rhythms. Black Slabbath also takes advantage of the innovative OpenType format and includes ligatures and alternates.
Black Slabbath is the brainchild of graphic designer Stefan Kjartansson, YouWorkForThem commissioned the typeface, nursing the development of its painstaking drawing, kerning, and spacing to perfection over six months in 2007-2008.
