Tar Teen is a font based on my handwriting. It is meant to be at crossroads between art nouveau letterings and steampunk lettering, so that you could see this font on a front store of the 1920s as well as on the computers inside Iron Man’s helmet.
The clean lines and subtle curves allow a strong impact on the eye of the reader, and the thickness of the characters allows for an infinity of possible combinations.
The font exists in two variants, Tar Teen Straight, the classic version of the font, and Tar Teen Variant, another version that brings a little rhythm. The two families can be used together as alternatives to vary the look of a character that is reused more than once.
