Monte Cristo was designed by Patrick Griffin, Kevin King and published by Canada Type. Monte Cristo contains 7 styles and family package options.
Monte Cristo picks up where Libertine left off, then makes a great leap forward to attain its luxuriously seductive personality. With a minimum of 4 variations on the uppercase letters, and up to 38 variations on the lowercase, the application possibilities with this script are enormous. Monte Cristo offers a huge variety of letter shapes, from simple alternate forms, to multiple beginning and ending letters, ligatures, and exhuberantly swashed and ornamented variants. This flexibility goes way beyond the 20 different stylistic sets permissible in OT fonts, to include a massive map of over 1630 characters, and options for different ways of connectivity, or none at all.
Monte Cristo comes in five interchangeable fonts, or in a complete set that includes an additional font loaded with extra alternates, and a Pro OpenType font that is the epitome of decadent, feature-laden digital calligraphy. Your next packaging project, wine label and entertainment cover are going to be a lot of fun.
