MFC Tagliato Monogram was designed by Brian Bonislawsky and published by Monogram Fonts Co.. MFC Tagliato Monogram contains 12 styles and family package options.
The inspiration source for Tagliato Monogram is a decorative letterset (capitals only) from the 1899-1900 Treatise on Embroidery, Crochet and Knitting booklet by M. Hemingway & Sons Silk Co. The letterforms mimic clipped branches, ‘Tagliato’ meaning ‘Clipped’ in Italian.
Tagliato Monogram can create one, two, or three letter monograms as well as basic headline and titling settings. It was originally designed to have outlined initials, but solid and outline versions have been created for more versatility and appeal. Download and view the Tagliato Monogram Guidebook if you would like to learn a little more. There is a guidebook for both the Pro and Standard fonts included in the font package.
Tagliato Monogram comes complete with both Pro and Standard format fonts. For those with programs that can take advantage of OpenType features, the Pro fonts are for you, but for others without the ability to use OpenType features, we’ve created separate fonts that make up the styles contained in the Pro font.
