The source of inspiration for MFC Redding Monogram is a highly ornate lettering style from the book, Letters and Lettering by Carlyle & Oring. This fantastic vintage sign painter style was originally depicted only with Capitals and Numbers, which we’ve lovingly recreated to include small caps for the purpose of Monogramming, Signs, and Headlines. We’ve even recreated the extruded shadow from the original specimens, but have taken it further by developing multiple layerable fonts that can be combined for effect.
