MFC Damask was designed by Jim Lyles, Brian Bonislawsky and published by Monogram Fonts Co.. MFC Damask contains 4 styles and family package options.
The inspiration source for MFC Damask is the “Oxford No. 2” typestyle from the 1893 “Cleveland Type Foundry Catalogue & Price List of Type and Materials”. The original design contained stylized numerals and smallcaps which have been normalized in our revival rendition. There are also both baseline and vertically centered smallcaps for titling and decorative monogramming use.

MFC Damask comes complete with both Pro and Standard format fonts. For those with programs that can take advantage of OpenType features, the Pro fonts are for you, but for others without the ability to use OpenType features, we’ve created separate fonts that make up the styles contained in the Pro font.
MFC Damask is the Pro font with OpenType features to create all of the possibilities of this typeface, while the other three typefaces of this family can be used to recreate those stylings without the use of OpenType features. MFC Damask Basic & MFC Damask Flourish work together to create the Monogram and Initial Styling created with MFC Damask, and MFC Damask Titling can be used to create the traditional baseline styled typesetting of MFC Damask.
