JHA Tetraktys was designed by Jan-Henrik Arnold and published by JHA. JHA Tetraktys contains 8 styles and family package options.
Chiseld in binary code. Tetraktys traces the aesthetic of wedge and curve in Latin inscriptions over the sixties and brings it to the digital present-day. The Swiss Designer Ernst Friz created the type “Friz Quadrata”, which is the inspiration for Tetraktys. Tetraktys adopts the structure of circle, triangle & square as well as their internal forms. Even in its richness of detail Tetraktys strives for formal reduction. This is remarkable in bigger font sizes and calms the rhythm in reading sizes. Many of the letters of the italic counterpart possess a particular structure without losing the its formal link.
