Preparing for a trip to Korea, Anita Jürgeleit studied the Korean alphabet. The prevailing writing system in Korea grouping characters to syllables fascinated her so much that she dared the experiment to develop such a system of writing with the Latin alphabet for the German language.
The result is an intuitively learnable and surprisingly easy to read writing system, which already contains approximately 3000 syllables today.
