Cinema Moderne is created to pay homage to he fabulous small town theaters from 1930’s and 40’s America. This unique font plays off of the Art Moderne and art deco style of the day. Art Moderne some times called Streamline Moderne design architecture emphasized curving forms, long horizontal lines, and sometimes nautical elements.
Many of these masterpiece buildings have been lost forever. Some have managed to find new life with a new function. Cinema Moderne was created to preserve a small piece of that history forever.
