Avocado Sunday is the Serif display typeface with combine uppercase and lowercase looks and feel nice balanced. Ligatures feature is default setting in Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop in Uppercase character. So when you want not to use the ligatures.
Open glyphs panel :
In Adobe Photoshop choose tool Window Character and then please click fi symbol
In Adobe Illustrator choose tool Window Type Open Type and then please click fi symbol
