Excellens is the first font totally created using Microsoft EXCEL 97.
The glyph design was done using a standard EXCEL 97 worksheet, adding some border and diagonal color to draw the letter shapes. The final result is something similar to the “Cholo Graffiti Calligraphy†used by Mexican gangs in Los Angeles, but in a new digital and elegant way.
In the zip archive you will also find a folder that contains the original EXCEL 97 worksheets used to create the font.
