Oz Handicraft BT was designed by Oswald Cooper, George Ryan and published by Bitstream. Oz Handicraft BT contains 8 styles and family package options.
The Oz Handicraft family celebrates an unknown side of Oswald Cooper’s work. Best known for his seminal Cooper Black typeface, Cooper also designed several other typefaces.
None, however, were sans serif designs. (He didn’t like them much.) But long before Cooper was crafting typeface designs, he was a sought-after and prolific lettering artist – and a few serifless examples crept into this work.
Monotype typeface designer, George Ryan (who prefers to call himself a “letter drawer”) saw a bit of Cooper’s sans serif lettering in an old book and decided to correct the deficit in the artist’s typographic repertoire.
